Imola, H+5: Peugeot on target for victory, Greaves goes to the front in LM P2
Race facts after five hours
With 60 minute to go to the chequered flag, Peugeots fill the first two places in the Imola 6 Hours. Sébastien Bourdais (no. 7 Peugeot 908) has a lap in hand over Franck Montagny in no. 8. In third is still the no. 1 Audi R18 TDI.
However, in LM P2 there was a major upset. The no. 46 TDS Racing Oreca 03 – Nissan that had dominated since the start lost more than 10 laps in the pits, and Karim Ojjeh (no. 41 Greaves Motorsport, Zytek Z11SN – Nissan) inherited first place in the category.
En LM GTE Pro, the no. 55 BMW M3 driven by Jörg Müller is still fighting off the two AF Corse Ferrari F458 Italias, nos 71 and 51, which are less than a minute behind the German car.
There was another leadership change in FLM with Julien Schell (no. 95 Pegasus Racing n°95) taking first place from Luca Moro (no. 91 Hope Racing n°91) and Christian Zugel (no. 93 Genoa Racing).
In the Michelin Green X Challenge, the no. 8 Peugeot 908 leads the no. 1 Audi R18 TDI and the no. 7 Peugeot 908.
