Terms of service
When you visit our Nextgen-Auto.com website, information may be recorded in "Cookie" files installed on your computer, tablet or mobile phone. This page allows you to understand what a Cookie is, what it is used for and how to configure it.
WHAT IS A COOKIE?
This is a text file placed in a dedicated space on the hard drive of your terminal (computer, tablet, mobile phone or any other device optimized for the Internet), when viewing content or online advertising. This Cookie file can only be read by its issuer. It allows the latter, during its period of validity, to recognize the terminal concerned each time that this terminal accesses digital content containing Cookies from the same issuer. The Cookie does not identify you personally, but only the browser of your terminal.
WHAT ARE COOKIES USED FOR?
Four types of Cookies, meeting the purposes described below, can thus be saved on your terminal when you visit our site:
1. Technical Cookies are necessary for browsing our site, as well as for accessing the various products and services. Technical Cookies allow us to recognize you, to signal your visit to a particular page and thus to improve your browsing comfort: adapt the presentation of the site to the display preferences of your terminal (language used, display resolution), memorize passwords and other information relating to a form that you have completed on the site (registration or access to the member area). Technical Cookies also allow us to implement security measures (this is the case, for example, when you are asked to log in again to the member area after a certain period of time). These Cookies cannot be deactivated or configured without being able to access the site and/or the site’s services.
2. Audience measurement cookies are issued by us or by our technical service providers for the purpose of measuring the audience of the various contents and sections of our site, in order to evaluate them and better organize them. These cookies also allow, where applicable, to detect navigation problems and consequently to improve the ergonomics of our services. These cookies only produce anonymous statistics and traffic volumes, excluding any individual information. The lifespan of these audience measurement cookies does not exceed 13 months.
3. Advertising cookies are issued by our advertising partners, in the advertising spaces of our site, the operation of these spaces contributing to the financing of the content and services that we make available to you free of charge. These Cookies are placed by our partners as part of advertising partnerships under which the advertising agencies may be required to collect data concerning the content viewed on our site, in compliance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act of 1978. These Cookies firstly make it possible to count the total number of advertisements displayed in our advertising spaces, to identify these advertisements, their respective number of displays, the number of users who clicked on each advertisement and, where applicable, the subsequent actions carried out by these users on the pages to which these advertisements lead, in order to calculate the amounts owed to the players in the advertising distribution chain (communications agency, advertising agency, site/distribution medium) and to establish statistics. These advertising Cookies also make it possible to adapt the advertising content displayed on your terminal in our advertising spaces, according to the navigation of your terminal on our site, or, where applicable, according to the location data (longitude and latitude) transmitted by your terminal with your prior consent (behavioral advertising). This way, you can view the advertisement that we believe is best suited to your anonymous usage profile of your device. These Cookies can also limit the number of times you see the same advertisement on the same medium and adapt the advertising content displayed on your device in our advertising spaces based on the personal data that you may have voluntarily provided (targeted advertising). The lifespan of these advertising Cookies does not exceed 13 months.
4. “Social Network” Cookies allow you to share content from our site with other people or to let these other people know that you have viewed or are interested in content on the site. This is particularly the case for the “share” and “like” buttons from the social networks “Facebook” or “Twitter”. The social network providing such an application button is likely to identify you using this button, even if you did not use it when viewing our site. We invite you to consult the privacy policies of these social networks in order to learn about the purposes of use, particularly advertising, of the browsing information that they can collect through these application buttons. The lifespan of these Cookies does not exceed 13 months.
