The Rebellion Racing is ready to roll
The first Lola B10/60 completed a few days ago
The 2010 endurance season starts in 45 days with the official Le Mans Series test days at Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track. REBELLION Racing is eagerly awaiting taking part in that first event.
The first of REBELLION Racing’s Lola B10/60 was completed a few days ago and its Rebellion engine was run-up in the car to test the basic systems. The team’s second Lola Rebellion will be completed this week.
"Having our two new cars ready to roll out of Lola’s factory by the end of this week is a very positive achievement and a key milestone in our plan. We started working early on with our major partners, Lola on the new aerodynamics and Engine Developments on the new Rebellion engine, to develop our package for 2010. This has given us the time to complete our development programme as scheduled. Moreover, it has allowed us to focus resources on some of the finer details that, when put together, will play a significant part in the performance of our cars. In fact, we now just need to make the drivers’ seats in order to run the cars out on the track!" said REBELLION Racing team manager Bart Hayden.
After a full systems check in England in early February, the REBELLION Racing team will undertake four days of testing in southern Europe with all four of the team’s drivers, Andrea Belicchi, Jean-Christophe Boullion, Neel Jani and Nicolas Prost together for the first time this year. The team will then head off to the official Le Mans Series test days at Paul Ricard (7-8 March).
