Rebellion Racing launches its 2010 season

REBELLION Racing conducted on February 8th a shakedown of its two Lola-Rebellion LMP1 race cars. The Swiss team will go on to conduct a round of private testing next week in Portugal and Spain. REBELLION Racing will introduce its 2010 drivers and new cars to the press and public on 7 and 8 March at Paul Ricard HTTT during the official Le Mans Series Test Days.
The shakedown of the two Lola-Rebellions took place Monday, February 8, at Snetterton in the UK with two of the four REBELLION Racing drivers, Jean-Christophe Boullion and Nicolas Prost present. The new Lola B10/60 - Rebellions covered thirty laps in very cold and wet snowy weather. The team will begin its development testing programme in Portugal on 17 and 18 February at Portimao circuit. The team will then head off to Spain for two further days of testing at the Monteblanco circuit near Seville on 20 and 21 February. All of the Swiss team’s drivers will take part in these tests: Andrea Belicchi will be partnered with Jean-Christophe Boullion in one car, Nicolas Prost and Neel Jani will be partnered in the other.
REBELLION Racing will then take part in the Le Mans Series Test Days on 7 and 8 March at Paul Ricard HTTT. The drivers and the new Lola-Rebellion cars will be presented to the press and the public on this occasion.
The whole REBELLION Racing team is now looking forward to seeing their cars out on the race tracks and the drivers are relishing the opportunity to explore the true potential of their new cars.
