Quifel ASM team will not be present in Imola

Quifel ASM team regrets to announce that it will not be present in the ILMC /LMS event in Imola beginning of July.

Lack of engine reliability have caused the team to abandon in the 6 hours of Spa , and after less than 4 hours in the 24 hours of Le Mans.

The team has no certainty that engine reliability and competitiveness can be restored in the short term, therefore it has taken the decision to address those issues in a comprehensive way before returning to racing.

The team hopes to be able to return to racing in the 2011 LMS after the summer.

Quifel ASM team intends to pursue its racing activity in 2012 and beyond, and is at present evaluating its available options.
