Penalty for Wiechers-Sport duo

Wiechers-Sport drivers Mehdi Bennani and Masataka Yanagida had all their qualifying times disallowed by the Stewards because of an infringement to the parc fermé rules.

The team’s crew downloaded from the data loggers after the end of Q1, while all the cars that have not advanced to Q2 are under parc fermé condition.
Bennani and Yanagida had posted the 23rd and 25th fastest lap respectively.
