The Campos Racing crew is still at work trying to repair damage obtained during yesterday’s qualifying session.
Michael Soong’s car that dived into the tyre wall at Fisherman’s bend has been fixed by now. The actual damage at the front left end was not as bad as it looked, despite a fire that was soon put out by the marshals.
More extensive is the damage on Hugo Valente’s car that crashed head-on into the wall at Paiol bend.
“It’s a hard work and there is still a lot to be fixed, but we will manage to repair it,” said team manager Joan Orús.
