During last week’s WTCC test at Valencia, Dušan Borković was one of those drivers who attended while waiting for their own racing cars to be ready for action.
“I’m glad I had the opportunity to see the new Chevrolet in action, although I would have loved to test myself. I have met for the first time my team-mate Hugo Valente, and it was important for me watching him driving the Cruze. It was the first test for the car and we were really pleased with the results. This whole year will be a long test for all of us, especially for me as this is my first WTCC season,” said the Serbian driver.
“Campos Racing is a great team. We had a great cooperation last year in the FIA European Touring Car Cup; thanks to them I had the opportunity to make the step forward to WTCC. I’m really excited to have Joan Orús as my race engineer. He is a great expert and he is a part of WTCC from the beginning. I will learn a lot from him during the season,” Borković concluded.
After the test, the Serbian driver visited the RML factory to adjust the driving seat of his own Cruze, which is a bit of an issue as Borković is 207 cm tall…
