Bogie to start first on day two

Scottish Rally Champion David Bogie will lead the field away on day two of the RACMSA Rally of Scotland, round 11 of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge. The day promises a thrilling climax as young Norwegian Andreas Mikkelsen in the Ford Fiesta S2000 chases the Škoda of IRC champion-elect Juho Hänninen for the overall win.

Local interest will be served by several drivers restarting after suffering technical difficulties on Saturday: Škoda’s Guy Wilks and the Protons of Alister McRae and Keith Cronin, plus the Group N Subaru Impreza of Dave Weston Jr.

Light rain is expected tomorrow afternoon following a dry start, which could make tyre choice perilous if the rain arrives after the service halt.

Eurosport will be broadcasting both passes of the spectacular Loch Ard stage live.
