Marc Basseng is by far the busiest person this weekend at the Salzburgring.
Not only is he dividing his time between the duties of driver and team manager for the Münnich Motorsport WTCC team, but he will also be commuting between the Austrian circuit and the Nürburgring where he defends his 2012 victory in the 24-hour race.
Basseng is taking part in this year’s German enduro with an Audi R8 LMS car, run by the Phoenix Motorsport team, that he shares with Marcel Fässler, Franck Stippler and Markus Winkelhock.
After driving in Friday evening’s qualifying session at the Nürburgring he flew straight to Salzburg.
He will fly back to the Nürburgring on Sunday afternoon, after the second WTCC race; the 24-hour race will start on Sunday at 17.00.
