Volvo will field three cars in 2017 under the Polestar Cyan banner so it will contest the WTCC MAC3. No driver has been announced yet but the swedish team is already thinking about the line-up.
Nestor Girolami has been testing this week for the Polestar Cyan team, his first taste of WTCC since he competed last year for Lada. Girolami has proved right during the tests and Volvo wants to field a third S60 for the Argentine driver in Motegi, Japan, next month. Honda will field a fourth car there and Volvo could be interested in adding a car to its fleet. Confirmation is due next week.
