Since its creation, six years ago, the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) has contested its finale on the urban circuit of Guia, in Macau and the 2010 edition will continue to respect this tradition. Tiago Monteiro knows the 6.1 km layout well, a circuit where he shone last year while fighting for the a podium finish in both races. This year, the Macao round will not be crucial in the battle for the world titles, but Tiago insists on the unique character of the event. "In Macau, the races are always spectacular and this year they’ll have a special meaning for me because Andre Couto will be back behind the wheel after the drama he went through recently. To be close to him during these difficult circumstances are very important to me and I know he will get along perfectly inside the team and that he will do a good job."

SEAT Sport is in the search of its first success on the circuit of Guia which so often smiles on BMW and while Tiago arrives in Macao without any pressure, he has the strong desire to have two beautiful races and help SEAT and SR-Sport finish the season on a high note. "Pressure is part of racing but this year we arrive in Macau without the possibility of fighting for the title and we will be able to fully enjoy the meeting. My teammates and I always climb into the car will the aim to win, but this time the feeling will be a bit different. The races will be very tight, it will be a close fight and I would like to give SEAT their first victory in Macau."

The Eurosport chain will broadcast the entire event live with qualifying getting underway at 7:45 am on Friday and the races at 3:45 and 4:45 on Sunday.
