James Thompson completed his FIA World Touring Car Championship comeback season with a WTCC Trophy podium brace in Qatar last week.
Thompson has taken on the super-sub role for ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport driver/owner René Münnich in 2016. Despite missing four races, the Briton placed fourth in the final WTCC Trophy standings with a win double in Russia the highlight of his campaign.
However, Thompson’s performances weren’t enough for ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport to beat ROAL Motorsport to second place in the WTCC Teams’ Trophy table, the German squad missing out by eight points to the Italian outfit.
