The stewards summon seven drivers

The Stewards of the meeting have summoned the following seven drivers : Yvan Muller, Tom Chilton, Alex MacDowall, James Nash, Gabriele Tarquini, Tiago Monteiro and Pepe Oriola.

They have been asked to clarify the events that happened during today’s Q2 Qualifying.

Following the inquiry conducted to clarify the events that happened during the dying minutes of Q2 Qualifying, when a group of cars slowed down, the stewards decided there were no grounds to issue penalties.

However, the explanations given by the summoned drivers will be used to determine ways in which such events may not be repeated in future.
