This is the moment when Rickard Rydell snatched the lead from Jörg Müller to win the first ever FIA World Touring Car Championship race in Japan.
Held at the Okayama International Circuit, previously a Formula One venue in its TI Circuit guise, in October 2008, the event would prove to be a SEAT benefit with Tom Coronel making it a victory double for the Spanish manufacturer courtesy of his second race triumph.
This year’s WTCC JVCKENWOOD Race of Japan takes place at Twin Ring Motegi from 2-4 September.
