Team Engstler rules in TC2T class

Liqui Moly Team Engstler duo of Franz Engstler and Pasquale Di Sabatino dominated both the TC2T races at the Hungaroring.

The two drivers shared victories today, Di Sabatino was able to beat his team principal in the first race, but Engstler came back in the second one, scoring his fifth victory of the season.

Pasquale Di Sabatino: “It was my best weekend so far in WTCC, with my first pole position and my first win in the TC2T class. Franz (Engstler) and I are the only real competitors in the, but we always put in decent fights.”

Franz Engstler: “We had some oversteering issues in practice and again in the first race. In both races I had a good start, but halfway through the first race the oversteering came back again and forced me to go wide in one corner, which allowed Pasquale to get through. We made a small change to the set-up for the second race and that worked.”
