Both Gabriele Tarquini and Gianni Morbidelli were forced to skip today’s qualifying session because their cars could not be repaired after the crash they had during the second free practice.
The Münnich Motorsport crew is currently working flat to replace the front frame of Morbidelli’s Chevrolet in time for tomorrow’s race.
News are worse for Tarquini, whose Honda’s shell is damaged beyond repairs. JAS Motorsport is now forced to finish building a new car in time for next week’s event at Le Castellet.
