Last night the Stewards imposed a €5000 fine on the RML team after the technical checks revealed that the reverse gear ratio on Yvan Muller’s car did not match with that listed on the homologation form.
The Stewards ascertained that the ratio is in compliance with a previous extension (101/01KS) of the homologation form (A-5726), but that it was not updated to the latest extension (106/03R) and therefore decided to impose only a fine.
A second fine of €10000 remains suspended providing the team presents the car in full conformity with the valid homologation form at the next event.
