Škoda’s Loix back in top spot

The lead of Rally Vinho Madeira has changed hands for the sixth time after Freddy Loix seized top spot from Luca Rossetti with his fourth stage win of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge qualifier.

Works Škoda Motorsport driver Loix was 2.1s faster than team-mate Juho Hänninen through the 10.76-kilometre Boaventura stage as Jan Kopecký made it a Fabia one-two-three with the third fastest time.

Overall, Loix’s leads over Luca Rossetti is 2.5s with Meeke third, 6.1s off first place.
