Loix closes up in Madeira

Luca Rossetti continues to lead Rally Vinho Madeira in his Abarth Grande Punto S2000, despite Freddy Loix setting the fastest time through the 13.77 Serra D’Agua stage.

Loix, in a works Škoda Fabia S2000, was 2.5s quicker than Rossetti and trails the Italian overall by 1.8s with Kris Meeke third and Jan Kopecký fourth.

Rossetti said he hadn’t driven well through the stage and also complained of a lack of grip.
