Six cars for Engstler at Macau
The German team will look after no less than six BMW vehicles
Engstler Motorsport’s team manager Kurt Treml will have his hands full for the final WTCC event at Macau, as the German team will look after no less than six BMW vehicles.
As usual team principal Franz Engstler and Hong Kong’s Charles Ng will be at the wheel of the two Liqui Moly-sponsored BMW 320 TC cars powered by the 1.6-litre turbo engine.
Three 2-litre normally aspirated BMW 320si cars will be also entered under the banner of the Liqui Moly Team Engstler for Japan’s Masaki Kano and Macau’s Henry Ho and Joe Rosa Merszei.
This will be Kano’s second appearance during the current season after he replaced a sick Engstler at Suzuka, the third for Ho after Japan and China and the first for Rosa Merszei who joins the team every year for his home race.
The sixth car is Mak Ka Lok’s BMW 320si, entered by RPM Racing but serviced by Engstler Motorsport.
