Arrival in the Japanese harbour on October 22nd
The event in Valencia marked the end of the European season and now the WTCC competitors are looking forward to the two final race meetings at Okayama, Japan (October 31st) and Macau (November 21st).
This evening the paddock of the Spanish track is in full swing as 25 racing cars, spare parts and 200 tyres are being loaded into 30 containers that will be transported to Valencia’s harbour on Monday from where the cargo ship NYK Pegasus will set sail on Thursday morning to Osaka, via Singapore.
Her arrival in the Japanese harbour is expected on October 22nd. From Osaka the containers will be trucked to the Okayama International Circuit, which is 150 km away.
Three additional cars will be flown later, while 800 additional tyres are already on their way to Japan.
