Proteam Racing confirmed they will keep on participating in the World Touring Car Championship in the 2012 season, with two BMW 320 TC cars.
The Italian-based outfit revealed they are currently in negotiations to renew the agreements with drivers Medhi Bennani and Javier Villa who produced excellent performance at the wheel of Proteam’s cars in the 2011 WTCC.
Team Principal Marco Guiducci commented: “We are facing a new, exciting challenge in 2012, especially because the championship is going back to Marrakech, which is Mehdi’s home racetrack.”
Proteam Racing are also considering a possible participation to the European Touring Car Cup with one BMW 320si car, as three out of the series’ four events will be held at WTCC race meetings.
