Hong Kong driver Darryl O’Young will not only be fighting for the WTCC Independents’ Trophy title at Macau, he will also be raising money for the kids of the Make A Wish Foundation.

"I have had the opportunity to chase after my own dream of becoming a professional racing driver since I was a kid, and I truly believe that every child should have the same opportunity to go after his own dream!" said O’Young.

Besides taking pledges, O’Young has also organised various charity programs throughout the week at the Macau Grand Prix in order to raise funds. This will be highlighted by the Darryl O’Young Motorsport Charity Party that will be held at the MGM Macau on Friday November 19th. The event is sponsored by Belvedere Vodka, MGM Macau, Oakley and Pull-In Underwear and all money raised throughout the week will be presented to the Make A Wish Foundation with a cheque on Sunday morning before the WTCC races.

"On Sunday as we are bringing twenty kids and their families to the track to enjoy the WTCC races and also see my Chevrolet Lacetti up close and personal," added O’Young.
