Monteiro is given a 5-place grid penalty

Tiago Monteiro will be demoted by five positions on the starting grid for the first race of the next WTCC event at Spa-Francorchamps.

The Portuguese driver was handed the penalty by the Stewards of the Meeting who deemed him guilty of the collision he had with Tom Chilton during today’s second race while they were fighting for fifth sixth position.
