Michelisz: With the grey, I think it looks proper aggressive
Aggressive new look makes WTCC ace Norbi happy
Norbert Michelisz says he’s happy with the “aggressive” paint job on his Honda Civic WTCC.
Michelisz, who began life as a factory driver in the FIA World Touring Car Championship with a double podium in WTCC JVCKENWOOD Race of France last weekend, is carrying a white, red and grey colour scheme on his Honda Racing Team JAS entry.
Asked about his car’s new look, Michelisz explained: “It’s a team decision. We have three cars, we had two cars last year. We have a sponsorship deal in the background and of course it’s a decision you have to make if you have these kinds of negotiations. I’m totally happy with my colours, I have to say, although green, white and red is a bit like the Hungarian flag so I miss a bit of green. But with the grey, I think it looks proper aggressive so I’m happy.”
Michelisz, twice a privateer champion in the WTCC, is fourth in the title standings following the opening two races of the season at Circuit Paul Ricard.
