Menu returns to WTCC...
... on the air!
2012 WTCC vice-champion Alain Menu makes a one-off comeback to the world championship next week, getting for the first time into the shoes of TV commentator.
The Swiss racer, who scored 23 WTCC race wins between 2005 and 2012, will join Eurosport’s regular commentator Jacques Leunis as technical consultant during the live broadcast of the ninth WTCC meeting that takes place at Sonoma Raceway on September 7 and 8.
Menu, who was recently invited by Citroën Racing to take part in their earlier test sessions with an hybrid WRC-WTCC car, returns to Sonoma – where he claimed pole position last year – with the task of enriching the TV commentary using his expertise and technical knowledge.
