Esteban Guerrieri will make his FIA World Touring Car Championship debut armed with crucial advice from double world champion José María López.
The Argentine drivers, who used to compete against each other in single-seater racing, spoke at Termas de Río Hondo this afternoon with Guerrieri asking López about some of the key features of WTCC competition.
“We talked about the performance of the cars, how the tyre works, about the turbo, how to use it and how the engine gives you the power,” said Guerrieri. “We were speaking about if the tyres come down on performance, all the little details only a world champion like him can help me with and he was very kind to do it.”
