LADA Sport Rosneft revved up for WTCC Race of Argentina with a three-day test in Spain earlier this month.
Nicky Catsburg and Gabriele Tarquini shared driving duties for the Russian squad, working through a busy programme in the test Vesta. In hot and dry conditions at Motorland Aragon from 18-20 July they conducted “chassis work and other development tests”, according to a statement from the race-winning team.
Further tests are planned during the break between Argentina and WTCC Race of Japan.
LADA is enjoying its most successful season so far in the WTCC with two wins and six podiums. WTCC Race of Argentina takes place form 5-7 August in Termas de Río Hondo.
