Kopecký closes on Andreucci

Juho Hänninen will take a lead of 39.9 seconds into the final stage of Rally d’Italia-Sardegna after going quickest through the repeat of the Terranova test.

However, Paolo Andreucci’s margin over third-placed Jan Kopecký is down to 1.8s after the Czech driver edged out the Italian veteran on the 13.18-kilometre run.

Bruno Magalhães also made major gains on the stage by cutting the gap to Teemu Arminen, in fifth, to 7.5s.
