Rob Huff and his Münnich Motorsport SEAT León posted the fastest lap during this morning’s warm up, clocking the time of 2:31.449 by the end of the session.

Huff beat Pepe Oriola who had previously improved the fastest lap three times: 2:32.139, 2:31.638 and finally 2:31.469.

Pole position man Yvan Muller was third fastest (2:31.780), followed by James Thompson’s LADA (2:31.859) that looked particularly at ease in the second sector, the uphill and winding part between Lisboa bend and Melco hairpin.

The BMW pair of Tom Coronel (2:32.139) and Stefano D’Aste (2:32.287) ranked in fifth and sixth with Norbert Michelisz (2:32.324) in seventh place and fastest of the Honda drivers.
All five manufacturers were represented among the top seven, which promises two very close races today.

D’Aste was also the fastest in the Yokohama Trophy, while Filipe de Souza (20th) topped the Asia Trophy.

Hugo Valente posted the 18th fastest lap after the Campos Racing team worked all Saturday to repair damage obtained during Friday’s qualifying.

Gabriele Tarquini missed the session due to what it seems to be an engine problem.

The first of the two 9-lap races will start at 11.15 local time (4.15am CET), with the second race starting at 12.20.
