Another Chevrolet Cruze powered by the two-litre normally aspirated engine will compete in the WTCC event at Shanghai, in the hand of Hong Kong driver Eric Kwong Hoi Fung.
Kwong and his Cruze, run by the Look Fong Racing Team, have dominated this year’s Hong Kong Touring Car Championship, claiming the title in the Super 2000 class with five victories out of the series’ eight rounds.
In the previous seasons, the 30-year old Kwong has also raced successfully in the China Formula Campus Championship, the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific and the Audi R8 Cup China.
