The Peugeot domination continues
Two thirds of the Spa-Francorchamps 1000 kms have now been covered and it’s status quo in all categories in the fourth hour.
The fourth hour of the Spa-Francorchamps 1000 kms was much less incident-packed than the previous one as there were no interruptions.
In LM P1, the Peugeot domination continues with three 908s in the first three places. In no. 9 Pedro Lamy lapped Romain Dumas in the no. 1 Audi. Behind the three French cars nos 7, 9 and 8, and the three Audis nos 3, 1 and 2, Emmanuel Collard in the no. 16. Pescarolo-Judd heads Andrea Belicchi in the no. 13 Rebellion Racing Lola-Toyota.
The Oreca 03-Nissans still dominate the LM P2 category with the TDS Racing entry driven by Pierre Thiriet in the lead from Nicolas de Crem in the Boutsen Energy Racing 03 Nissan. The Signatech Racing Nissan has been delayed by mechanical problems.
Hope Racing is in front in Formula Le Mans. After Nicolas Marroc and Luca Moro the car is now in the hands of Zhang Shanqi. It is still under threat from Pegasus Racing after 4 hours.
In LM GTE the AF Corse no. 71 Ferrari F458 Italia driven by Toni Vilander leads the Pros, and in LM GTE Am CRS Racing is still in front. The Ferrari F430 GT in the hands of Adam Christodoulou is followed by Raymond Narac’s IMSA Performance Porsche 997 GT3 RSR.
