Fredy Barth in the 24 hours of Spa
"I am really looking forward to Spa"
WTCC regular Fredy Barth will take part next week in the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps at the wheel of an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 for the Swiss Emil Frey Racing team.
Barth takes advantage of the WTCC summer break to race in the Belgian enduro, sharing the car with Frey Lorenz and Gabriele Gardel forming an all-Swiss driver line up.
“I am really looking forward to Spa with its special atmosphere and the outstanding participants. According to the official tests and two days of testing at the Lausitzring we are well prepared. Spa is one of my favourite tracks. Our own project, the Emil Frey GT3 Jaguar, after a six-month development phase is making very promising progress. It is therefore important that at Spa we not only achieve a positive result in the race, but also learn from the experience so we can apply it to our own project,” Barth said.
