Final test for Tiago Monteiro before 2015 WTCC season begins

Tiago Monteiro’s final test before the start of the 2015 World Touring Car Championship took place this week on the Paul Ricard Circuit in France. Here the team carried out three days of intense work before heading for the season opening race in Argentina on the 6th - 8th of March.

After a long winter of preparations, Tiago Monteiro believes that the updates to his 2015 Honda Civic have made it even more competitive and the gap between the main opponents this season will be smaller. However, it will only be possible to evaluate the developments fully under race conditions.

"This last test was very important. There was positive development in regard to improvements on the chassis and engine. I spent a lot of time out on track where I completed some race simulations and practice starts. Overall it was very productive on all levels," said Tiago Monteiro.

Before leaving for Argentina in the next few days, Tiago will take part in a series of initiatives promoted by Honda in Geneva.
