Pasquale Di Sabatino claimed his first pole position in the TC2T class at the wheel of his Liqui Moly Team Engstler BMW 320 TC car.
The Italian driver posted a fastest lap of 1:54.584, beating his team mate Franz Engstler by half-a-second.
“I’m very happy with my lap time here today. I’m feeling more and more confident in the car as the season progresses, so I hope that tomorrow I can fight for victory. Hopefully, the forecasted rain will stay away so we can all have a good race,” said Di Sabatino.
