Chevrolet and Honda to run on equal weight
At Suzuka
The Chevrolet and Honda cars will run on the same weight again for the next WTCC event that takes place next week at Suzuka.
According to the calculation of the Compensation Weight based on the three previous events –Termas de Río Hondo, Beijing Goldenport and Shanghai – the Citroën C-Elysée remains the reference model and receives once again the maximum compensation weight of 60 kg (in addition to the minimum weight of 1100 kg).
The Chevrolet RML Cruze and Honda Civic cars will be both laden by 30 kilos of ballast. Compared to last week’s event in Shanghai, the Cruze will lose 10 kilos, while the Civic will be 10 kilos heavier.
The LADA Granta cars will keep on running with no handicap weight on board.
Compensation weight Suzuka:
+ 60 kg : Citroën C-Elysée
+ 30 kg : Chevrolet RML Cruze; Honda Civic
± 0 kg : LADA Granta
