Catsburg : I am improving as a driver
It’s getting better
Nicky Catsburg reckons he’s getting better behind the wheel in the FIA World Touring Car Championship despite leaving Argentina with two non-scores.
LADA Sport Rosneft driver Catsburg placed P13 and P12 in the two races at Termas de Río Hondo at the weekend as the factory Vestas suffered a rare dip in form and struggled for pace as a result.
“I am quite happy because I think I am improving as a driver,” said the Dutchman, who switched to the WTCC midway through 2015. “My starts are getting really good and we improved the car a lot through the races. I think if I had started Main Race in say fifth position I could have held that pace so I am looking forward to Japan to try and recover the ground I lost this weekend.”
