Campos Racing signed William Lok
For Shanghai
William Lok will drive for Campos Racing in the second WTCC Race of China that takes place next week at Shanghai International Circuit.
Lok, a 40-year old from Hong Kong, will drive one of the team’s SEAT León TC2T cars alongside regular racer John Filippi. This is the very same car that his fellow countryman Michael John Soong is racing this weekend at Beijing.
Lok’s racing career kicked off in 2010 when he took place in the Hong Kong Touring Car Challenge and the Asian GT Series. From the following year he began competing in the Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup China a series in which claimed brilliant results such as 4th place in last year’s championship and two race victories during the current season.
Since 2012 he has also been named Lamborghini Shanghai official driver for the Italian make’s Super Trofeo Asia.
