Mehdi Bennani and a bunch of his fellow WTCC competitors will take part next week in the First Grand Prix International El Jadida.
The event, organised by the Club Flamme des Sports Mécanique under the aegis of the Fédération Royale Marocaine des Sports Automobiles, will take place on a street circuit in the port city of El Jadida, that lies on Morocco’s Atlantic coast.
Bennani will be joined by Yvan Muller, Rob Huff, Tom Coronel, Stefano D’Aste and WTCC permanent safety car driver Bruno Correia; they will all take part in three Midget races, one on Saturday 24 August and two on Sunday 25 August.
The event has been organised in support of the Moroccan Government’s campaign against the accident on the road and the FIA Action for Road Safety.
