The following hearing of the International Court of Appeal will take place in Paris on Friday, November 12:

Appeals lodged by the Motor Sports Association (MSA) on behalf of its licence-holder Chevrolet against decisions N°1 and 2 taken by the Panel of Stewards of the Meeting dated 30 October 2010 concerning the event run at Okayama (Japan) on 31 October 2010 and counting towards the 2010 FIA WTCC World Championship

At the WTCC event held in Okayama, the WTCC Technical Delegate found that cars N°10 (BMW Team RBM – Augusto Farfus) and N°11 (BMW Team RBM – Andy Priaulx) were equipped with non-homologated gearboxes. The Stewards of the Meeting nonetheless found that the cars were eligible and confirmed their entitlement to participate.

On 2 November 2010, the Motor Sports Association appealed these Stewards’ decisions on behalf of its licence-holder Chevrolet.

The decision will be published as soon as possible after the hearing.
