Andreucci and Rossetti joint first

Paolo Andreucci might have shared the fastest time with Luca Rossetti through stage five but he continues to hold the overall lead of Rallye Sanremo.

Andreucci, who finished second on his first Intercontinental Rally Challenge appearance of the season in Sardinia back in June, is 7.8s clear of Peugeot UK driver Kris Meeke, the current IRC champion and the winner in Sanremo in 2009.

Meeke has demoted Juho Hänninen to third place after going 4.6s faster than the Finn through the stage.

Abarth driver Giandomenico Basso is fourth with team-mate Rossetti (pictured) moving ahead of Peugeot pilot Bryan Bouffier into fifth.
