Nasser Al-Attiyah will take a lead of 10.4s into the repeat the Foini stage, which at 31.70 kilometres is the longest of the FxPro Cyprus Rally following his fastest run through the 12th Alassa test.
Al-Attiyah, who reported a slight transmission fault prior to entering midday service, was 2.5s quicker than his nearest challenger Roger Feghali, the sole Škoda Fabia representative on the event.
Jaromir Tarabus is still third despite being beaten by Martin Prokop through the stage.
Cypriot Constantinos Tingirides said he was slowed by the anti-lag failing on his Ralliart Mitsubishi Lancer. However, he continues to hold seventh overall behind countryman Nicos Thomas.
