After race time it’s desk time for WTCC returnee Dahlgren
"With my limited time in the car and no experience..."
Robert Dahlgren can’t wait to swap steering wheel for computer following his return to the FIA World Touring Car Championship in Portugal last weekend.
The Swede replaced compatriot Fredrik Ekblom in the Polestar Cyan Racing line-up and spent the three days in Vila Real learning the Volvo S60 Polestar TC1, which he’d tested in prototype form last year.
He took P13 in the Opening Race but was prevented from going the distance in the Main Race due to an unspecified technical fault.
“With my limited time in the car and no experience from the circuit for neither the team nor me, this has been a positive first weekend,” said Dahlgren. “We made steady progress forward all weekend and I can’t wait to dig my teeth into all data and move forward for the coming races.”
