The WTCC will enjoy a five-week break before resuming for rounds 15 and 16 at Termas de Río Hondo on August 3 and 4.
The Argentine event will mark the beginning of the world championship’s overseas leg that will continue in USA, Japan, China and Macau.
Last Monday, the racing cars, spare parts and tyres were loaded into containers at Porto and during the next five weeks they will travel to South America.
