Charles Leclerc is reportedly preparing to become a father, although neither the Ferrari driver nor his wife Alexandra has officially confirmed the pregnancy.

Italian newspapers La Repubblica and Corriere della Sera say Alexandra’s appearance in the Hungaroring paddock on Friday appeared to confirm rumours that had circulated for several weeks.

La Repubblica reported that the couple’s first child is expected in the autumn, while stressing that the pregnancy and the baby’s sex have not been formally announced.

Corriere della Sera was more cautious, describing the reports as still unconfirmed and noting that Leclerc and Alexandra may have intended to reveal the news in their own time.

The couple married in Monaco in February shortly before the start of the 2026 season.

Their dachshund Leo, already one of the paddock’s most recognisable animals, was also with them in Hungary.

Leclerc’s apparent family news coincided with a strong opening day for Ferrari at a circuit expected to suit the 2026 car.
