Toro Rosso announce STR7 launch date

Scuderia Toro Rosso announced this morning that their seventh Formula 1 challenger, aptly named the STR7, will launched on Monday February 6th, 2012 in the Jerez de la Fontera circuit pit lane.

The STR7 is set to run for the first time on February 7th when Winter Testing commences, however, like many other teams on the grid, Scuderia Toro Rosso have opted to launch their car before testing starts.

The launch will be one of three 2012 cars to be launched on February 6th, joining Sauber F1 who will also launch at Jerez, and Red Bull Racing, who will unveil the RB8 online.

Scuderia Toro Rosso have also confirmed that newly signed 2012 driver Daniel Ricciardo will take the STR7 for its first run on Tuesday whilst team personnel, as well as both 2012 drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne, will be available for interviews and questions throughout both days.
