Red Bull ride height rumors spreading amongst the paddock

After the controversy which ensued during last weekend’s German Grand Prix regarding the engine mapping of the two Red Bull RB8s, further rumors have begun to gather momentum that the Milton Keynes-based outfit could be controlling the ride height of their cars. This discovery comes just before the start of qualifying at Budapest.

This particular feature, which is believed to have been first spotted on the car at Montreal, was reportedly queried by the FIA at the time. If these rumors are found to be true, then Red Bull could once again find themselves enduring the wrath of the FIA and most likely other teams for once again pushing the boundaries of the stringent technical regulations of the sport.

"There are fresh murmurings from some of the teams about the Red Bull car.” Explained Sky Sports News reporter, Craig Slater. “We’ve already had this issue into their engine mapping; they’ve been forced to change that. Some of the teams are now learning that in the Canada Grand Prix a few races ago, a race which Lewis Hamilton won, the FIA had a query about Red Bull’s ride height. We haven’t got any more details about this yet but it could well be that this develops into quite a significant story throughout the day."

Red Bull are currently leading the Constructors’ Championship, 53 points ahead of their nearest rivals Ferrari. The reigning Champions have won three races so far this year, but with many rumored technical infringements, questions are beginning to arise from all corners of the paddock regarding the legality of their dominant RB8s.
