Wilks heading back to service

Guy Wilks has been forced to miss the remainder of the day’s stages after suffering a drivetrain failure during SS6 (Craigvinean 2).

The Škoda UK entry is heading back to service with what is suspected to be a broken differential.

Wilks noticed the problem at the start of SS6 but initially thought the car had suffered a puncture.

The Škoda UK team will attempt to repair the Fabia in time to re-enter the event tomorrow.
