Valsecchi excluded from feature race

It was a tough day for newcomers Team AirAsia: first, Luiz Razia retired on the first lap of the Feature Race after another car pushed him off track.

After the race, the Stewards found out that the car #27 did not comply with the 2011 GP2 Asia Series technical regulations, article 4.3.12 – the car floor was found a bit too low.

As a consequence, it was decided that Davide Valsecchi was excluded of Race 1 results. The Italian will start from the last spot on tomorrow’s sprint race grid.
